Paan Shot
Here’s a recipe that combines the dessert and after-meal paan into one exciting glassful! The Paan Shot is a mouth-watering combination of paan and rose gulkand with spices and ice-cream, which melts in your mouth and tickles your taste buds. Every sip of this aromatic drink will send a lovely tingle down your spine.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes.
Cooking Time: Nil.
Makes 12 shots.
4 Calcutta beetel leaves (paan), torn into small pieces
2½ tbsp paan (beetel leaves) masala, refer handy tip
1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
4 tbsp gulkand
10 ice cubes
2½ cups vanilla ice-cream
1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixer and blend till smooth.
2. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
3. Pour equal quantities into 12 shot glasses and serve chilled.
Handy Tip: - To get 2½ tbsp of paan masala, you need to buy 3 packets of paan masala.
