Hot on the heels of the cinematic 'Reverie' by Marcus Schössow, Axtone are continuing to challenge expectations with both releases & release schedule, once again welcoming new names to the Axtone family in Don Diablo and Matt Nash with 'Starlight (Could You Be Mine)'
Dutch DJ/producer Don Diablo has firmly established himself in the electronic community driven by collaborations with artists such as Diplo, Example, Dragonette and Noisia and most recently on the first single from his debut album, 'Give It All' featuring Alex Clare and Kelis.
At just 22, UK artist Matt Nash is no slouch himself, having releases on Revealed, Spinnin, Zouk and Diffused along the way remixing Foster the People, David Guetta, Avicii, Dirty South and Thomas Gold.
The now London based set of producers have come together to create the standout track for this summer. Eschewing the current dancefloor trends 'Starlight' combines vocoder vocals, a French inspired synth break topped off with a devastating bassline
Debuted by Swedish House Mafia on their farewell 'One Last Tour' 'Starlight (Could You Be Mine)' was revealed by none other than Don himself via his personal blog saving the online community any digging.
Additional early adopters for this record have been no less than Nicky Romero, Tiesto Sebastian Ingrosso, Thomas Gold, Tommy Trash, Avicii alongside Radio 1 support from Danny Howard & the legendary Pete Tong.
The Original of 'Starlight (Could You Be Mine)' is released exclusively through Beatport 26th July with rumours of an Otto Knows remix to be released later in the summer.
