There are only a handful of sportsmen who manage to reach the top in one discipline; Nasser has done it in two. Nasser became the first Qatari-born athlete to win an Olympic medal when he finished third in the men's skeet shooting competition at the 2012 London Games.
Despite his Olympic success Nasser still remains better known around the globe for his exploits as a rally driver. In 2008 he switched his focus to cross-country rallying and then signed with Volkswagen to compete in the 2010 Dakar Rally, finishing the race in second place behind VW team-mate Carlos Sainz. In 2011, he managed to make it to the top of the podium.
