Dota 2 Purge plays Alchemist

Alchemist has been one of the most picked hero in the new patch due to the fact that you can give Aghanims Scepter to your allies. It's a decent strat but you shouldn't purchase for your allies immediately. It's better to purchase a farming item, transition into teamfight/gank, and THEN start buying a ton of Aghs for your team that will give them HP and help them dominate fights into the late game.
The biggest buff to Alchemist in this patch is probably that you can upgrade Shadow Blade(which before was an item ultimately replaced), which allows him to scale his ganking build(a must for him to participate in fights) into a late game build, and to the bounty run quadrupling his gold gain.
I think Alchemist plays best in the mid lane, personally, since you can push out lanes and generally zone your opponent.
I definitely over farmed this game. I think you can participate earlier than I did, but the rest of the items and things I purchased were good, in my opinion.
