Solar Eruption Engulfs View of Venus
On August 16, the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory captured this time-lapsed imagery of a coronal mass ejection passing in front of its view of the "Morning Star". Being that the planet was more than 62 million miles away, it never posed a threat.
