Banjo-Kazooie - Rusty Bucket Bay - 100% Speed Run - 13:13
This is a speed run through Rusty Bucket Bay on Banjo-Kazooie. (played on the N64 console)
I really wasn't intending on speed running this particular level, but after trying the levels up to here (I've been mainly trying Gobi's Valley and Mad Monster Mansion), I figured I would give this level a go. I had some small mistakes here and there but there really wasn't anything major that went wrong. The level is pretty challenging & fun to do a speed run through. I only wish I could try this level more without playing the 2+ hours it takes to get here for each attempt.
The glitch through the glass/window pane inside the room with all of the fans is really inconsistent for me. I've tried to do this glitch on 3 runs and one time I got through in 2 seconds, another took me 3 and a half minutes and this run took around 30 seconds. What happened on this run (getting stuck for around 30 seconds) basically equates to the same amount of time that it would have taken to leave the area properly and then run back to the back end of the ship. I wish I could have gotten through faster, but I was fairly happy to even get through at all.
The next run you'll probably see will be Gobi's Valley. I just need to make my video there but I got a run that I was happy with. I'm still not planning any full game speed runs as of now.
