Lisa Gade reviews the 2014 Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon. This is the updated X1 Carbon with Intel Haswell CPUs inside, a redesigned Fn row on the keyboard and a WQHD touch screen. The X1 Carbon is a little thinner and lighter than the outgoing model, and this 14" ultrabook is 0.73" thick and it weighs 2.8 lbs (non-touchscreen) or 3.15 lbs. (touch screen). It's available with Intel Core i5 and i7 ULV CPUs with Intel HD 4400 graphics, 4-8 gigs of DDR3 RAM and a variety of SSD drives. Our model has dual band Intel WiFi 802.11AC, Bluetooth 4.0, a fingerprint scanner, 720p webcam and optional 4G LTE. The ThinkPad is available with a 1600 x 900 non-touch TN panel or a 2560 x 1440 IPS touch screen with a matte finish. The price starts at $1,200 for non-touch and $1,300 for touch.
