RC plane, destruction by mail? Part 2 (the unboxing)
Just what is inside that large box from China that rattles so badly?
Well it's a Yak 54 ARF RC plane for 20cc gas engines and, as I suspected, the rattling and banging was caused by all the hardware (such as horns, undercarriage legs, etc) bursting free of its bag and rolling around inside.
Have you noticed how thin the bags the Chinese use are these days? It's no wonder this one burst because a lot of the hardware inside is quite heavy and sharp.
