Ingredients:
- 3 slabs Korean style beef short ribs
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup mirin ( rice wine)
- 1 small onion, peeled and finely grated
- 1 small Asian pear, peeled and finely grated
- 4 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons dark sesame oil
How To:
- Mix the ingredients
- Marinade the beef ribs for 4 hours
- Grill the ribs over direct heat with the lid closed to prevent flare ups
- Brush on some marinade for extra flavor
- When the ribs are medium-well done, which is around 65 degrees Celsius or 150 degrees Fahrenheit, they are done.
- Let them rest for about 5 minutes and enjoy them.
