DIY MOD: Adding LCD Backlight to Turnigy TGY-9x Transmitter
Pilots here is my DIY of the TGY-9x LCD backlight mod, it takes about 10-20 minutes, all you need is a phillips screwdriver, I started with the blue kit but the LED bar came loose, I glued it but ended up using the green LED kit, it looks great, very bright and at $4.95 you can't find a better deal! I think the White and Green LED's are the best bet, not sure the Blue is as easy to see....
I bought this TGY-9x as a back up to my JR9503, this one is so inexpensive you can toss it in the car and not worry about it, hopefully it's as reliable as the reviews
