Can an AXN RC plane really be flown in the extreme gale-force winds that accompany a tropical cyclone such as the one (cyclone Pam) that is bearing down on New Zealand at the moment?
I flew in a tropical storm once before (incurring the wrath of CAA in the process):
but this cyclone is predicted to be much, much more powerful so it will be interesting to see if the humble AXN can handle the conditions. Who will I upset this time?
You guys wanted more fixed-wing action -- well I'm predicting action and I'm sure the wing will need fixing after this flight!
