Activity at the Tokoroa Airfield NZTO (what the?)

After months of inactivity I was surprised to see not one but TWO aircraft at once. The local rescue helicopter was hovering around and a CTC Twinstar was doing touch-and-goes. Not much to see in this video but it was good to give the Sony video camera a work-out and if you are into full sized helicopters you may find the close-up footage of interest. Of course now that the South Waikato District Council has decided to charge $10 per day for casual full-sized takeoffs/landings I expect we'll see even fewer planes coming and going.
Perhaps these two were getting in before it becomes too expensive to use Tokoroa Airfield.
