Terraria - What Should I do?

Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?
Unfortunately the 1.2 update for Terraria has been ruining peoples worlds. Please help me decide what I do next.
I have 3 options:
1. Continue my lets play offline.
2. Risk doing the update.
3. Wait until the developers fix the update.
