An update on the progress of getting the Tokoroa International Model Park off the ground...
We've missed out on receiving funding from the SWDC community fund but the councilors are still discussing the merits of the Model Park initiative so we need to ensure that they're kept aware of the level of international interest.
If you think you might want to come visit TIMP at some time in the future and enjoy the fun of flying RC models (even FPV with video glasses!) then go to the SWDC Facebook page and ask when the park will be open -- so you can book your travel and accommodation.

How much interest do we have in organising an international FPV event to open the model park? Multi-rotor racing could be one of the planned events perhaps. Have your say here in comments to this video.
