I've now fitted the camera and video transmitter for the first video-enabled test flights.
Apart from the supplied rubber bands perishing then breaking in less than a day's exposure to the harsh southern hemisphere summer sun, everything is working just fine.
However, I did move the ESC to the outside of the fuselage after the original unit failed because it got too hot when stuck inside the very insulating EPP foam fuselage.
