In this video I open, build and review my pair of the new HobbyKing Quanum DIY FPV Goggle Set with Monitor (kit) from HobbyKing and under $30.
UPDATE: Despite what it says on the HK website says (screenshot at ) the second lead is not audio but a second Video in connection. Do not connect the white lead.
Visit to see them.
Overall I am impressed with the simple design and build of the kit. More thought on how to connect it to any little 3s battery for power would have been useful so you can mount the battery on the set with Velcro and avoid some of the cables.
In summary - A great pair of goggles if you already have a receiver with an RCA jacks or excellent as a pair of 'buddy' goggles that you can run from your primary pair/ground station.
