NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter's (MRO) High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera snapped imagery of the comet during its fly-by of Mars. Siding Spring flew within 87,000 miles of the surface of the Red Planet. MRO imagery was obtained between Oct. 17th-20th, 2014. --- Full Coverage of the fly-by:
