1/17/2012 Chest Workout with my brother Jay and my boy James. This was more of a high volume chest workout using a bit lighter weight but also focusing on progressive tension overload. For the majority of the movements we focused on a slow negative or eccentric part of the movement and a powerful concentric or pushing portion of the movement.
The concentric movement is the shortening of the muscle, or the "up" movement.
The eccentric muscle contraction is the movement going down, or lengthening of the targeted muscle.
