Offer People Gym Advice Or Leave Them Alone?

I have never infringed upon someone's workout without them asking for help or advice. I do often notice exercises being performed incorrectly that I think will eventually lead to injury, but I know some people go to the gym and want to be left alone. I am just curious as to what other people think about offering advice or ideas to others in the gym. Should we leave them alone and let them do their thing whether wrong or right, or offer them some assistance and help?
