UPDATE - Canon Rebel t3i

UPGRADED! Canon Rebel t3i - Loving it so far but there is so much more to learn!
Any gurus or professionals out there knowledgeable with this camera or DSLR'S I would appreciate any input!I Would love to learn about different shooting modes and really get the most out of this camera! Any help or advice would be appreciated!
My videos have all been recorded with the following pros and cons:
Samsung TL220 Camera - more of a pocket point and shoot digital camera which shoots full HD video but the microphone is just to small to pick up quality audio although the video is great. (Most of my video's are recorded with this camera)
iPhone - as much as I love the iphone and it has quality audio and video I don't want to use it as my primary camera!
Canon Vixia hf R100 - I have always loved canon products. I really love the design of this camcorder! The video quality is excellent in good lighting but as far as indoor / lower lighting it's just too grainy. Also the microphone is very sensitive and picks up a humming noise of the drive spinning inside the camcorder.
