Hobby King Basher SaberTooth w/500k Diff oil and Badlands
After the small breakage on its first run, the Sabertooth got some upgrades. I changed out the tires to the very aggressive Pro-Line Badlands 3.8" and while I was pulling the car apart to fix the broken hinge pin, I decided to check the diffs as well. Turns out no oil comes in the diffs and they are only supplied with a very small amount of grease in them. So, I used 15K weight in the front and rear diffs and used 500K weight in the centre diff. The result - a much more balanced and predictable Truggy! This gave me a little more confidence when driving and it didn't take long before I took the Sabertooth to the BIG BMX jumps. Did it handle it?
