I think it's safe to say that this game is highly anticipated. Overall, I think it delivered, although it's far from perfect. The problem with making a game movie with these type of games, is that they're always scariest right before you die. Game movie wise it wouldn't make much sense to add that in. That being said, I think even as a game movie "The Evil Within" will provide plenty of scares, but it's definitely a game that is better played instead of watched. I highly recommend this game, no matter what type of gamer you are, but especially if you're into survival horror. It does a great job of creating a creepy atmosphere and does a superb job of never letting us feel comfortable, always keeping us at the edge of our seat. I tried to edit the game movie slower, with less cuts, to let scenes build up and add tension. As always, I included gamepaly, relevant dialogue and cutscenes to create one fluid cinematic experience. If you enjoyed, make sure you like, comment and share!
While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful force. After seeing the slaughter of his fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead.
