JES, the Queen of Rocktronica, is not just a chart-topping and award-winning New York native. She has also been the voice for countless superstar dance producers, propelling hit songs with Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Gabriel & Dresden and BT among many others. One of her first releases, the now legendary "As The Rush Comes" by Motorcycle, quickly catapulted her into the global spotlight of the world's dance music scene, going to #1 in countless countries and winning her several awards including the International Dance Music Award at the world famous WMC conference. The song ended up as the #4 most played dance song of the decade on Billboards 2000-2010 charts. JES has topped numerous charts worldwide and has earned two honors on Billboards famed Decade End Charts including the #4 Dance Airplay song of the decade.
In 2007, JES brought the weight of the world to a standstill with her pivotal album "Disconnect" that produced the 3 hit singles "Ghost", "Heaven" and the #1 chart hit "Imagination". Over the years, "Ghost" became one of JES' most played electronic dance classics on the world's dance floors and was remixed many times. With the support of many of the ruling DJs, the audience's interest for "Ghost" has all but faded away and the track still gets the hands in the air each time it's on in a live set.
For this new remix, the assignment went to tyDi, the classically trained musical mastermind from Australia. tyDi was voted 'Australia's #1 DJ' two years in a row and the humble Aussie has also been honored the International Dance Music Award's 'Best Break-Through DJ of the World' award presented by Tiësto. tyDi wrote some of the most cutting edge music with unrivaled attention to detail and musical composition. He has written and collaborated with some of the most remarkable producers in the world, such as Grammy nominated producer BT.
tyDi took "Ghost" apart and put it back together again in his own, trademark ground breaking style. Well delivered within the boundaries of modern day vocal trance, tyDi honors the original arrangement of JES, adding an attractively serrated edge with subtle electro house elements. With "Ghost" in the tyDi remix, JES once again spreads her message of diversity globally and across all genres.
