This is the flight video of the E-flite Carbon-Z cub.
Preflight review:
These are the first few flights and I am still getting comfortable with the plane so nothing too wild. If you haven't tried a large IMAA legal plane, this is a great choice. Completely different feel from the usual park flyer. The plane was perfect at take-off with no trim needed at all. With the huge flaps you can slow this plane to a crawl, yet it has the the power for all the aerobatics you want to do. It will easily knife edge across the entire field. Inverted with just a touch of down elevator. The big tundra tires are great for landing on rough surfaces and the option for floats and a camera mount really round out the package. $400 for a bnf basic plus another $60-150 depending on the battery and you are flying! I do like the 6s 4400 packs-fit perfectly and I can't really tell any difference in terms of weight with the smaller packs. Plus the larger packs will also work with the Beast 60e :).
I really can't find any complaint with this plane-yes it's foam so the paint tends to scrape and chip a bit, but the trade off is that it is easy to repair and you can easily replace damaged pieces with great parts support from Horizon Hobby.
