Setrise and Kay Wilder present their brand new single on the In Trance We Trust imprint, entitled "Cannon".
Despite his young age, Setrise a.k.a. Melle Bakker is already an accomplished DJ, producer, label head honcho, A&R manager, radio show host and columnist. His radio shows are broadcast worldwide and his productions gained the support from fellow DJs Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk and many others. His remixes for Benny Benassi, Three Drives, Dave202 and Roger Shah still kick ass and since Melle Bakker also produces house/techno music under other aliases, Mixmag once called him 'Breathless and full of promise'.
Kay Wilder has been active as DJ/Producer since 2007 and harvested his first success as official support act for Marco V at his "In Charge Night" and Junkie XL's live show. Armin van Buuren personally invited him to play at his A State Of Trance 500 celebration in 2011. Kay's debut single "Poetry Clash" in 2010 (also with Setrise) received massive support by Lange, Above & Beyond, Ernesto & Bastian, Mark Sherry and Chrisopher Lawrence; his 2011 single "Bringing People Together" was hammered by Paul Oakenfold, Rank 1, Marco V, Mark Sherry and Ruben de Ronde. Kay's most impressive gig so far has been his DJ set at the Kandahar Air Field in Afghanistan for 3000 civilians and members of the ISAF troops from 52 different nationalities.
With this brand new single "Cannon", Setrise and Kay Wilder drop a powerful and deep trance bomb for all DJs that operate between progressive and tech trance. The warm synth arrangement reveals a bit of ISOS sound as well. A single that will hit like a "Cannon"!
