Jimmy uses his collection of personal experiences to teach his audience about techniques of developing breakthrough ideas. He talks about how to find inspiration when problem solving. He shows that the magic that happens when one has a breakthrough idea can happen to anyone who has a healthy well-fed subconscious.
Jimmy Diresta is a New York-based designer and artist. In his work, Jimmy uses his innate ability to solve problems and a wide variety of tools, techniques, and found objects. He has appeared on Discovery Channel, HGTV, DIY, and FX Networks as a host and co-host. He currently is a a faculty member at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
