Mad Max is the brand new open world game by Avalanche Studios. The story fits well in the Mad Max universe, and feels in line with the atmosphere of the movie franchise. The game is far from perfect. While the story is interesting and the graphics are pretty, the game is riddled with far too many fetch quests. It's the "Far Cry Syndrome" where you seem to be the only person in the world that can solve everyone else's problems. The combat is simple and fun, but can get repetitive. The car customization is excellent. The desert wasteland is vast. But in the end, the game itself can sometimes feel hollow.
All that being said, we really think you'll enjoy the story. We paid close attention to cutting out all the unnecessary quests and tried to only focus on the main story. As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic story. We hope you enjoy!
