Star Wars Millennium Falcon Quadcopter First Outdoor Flight

The instructions clearly state that the Air Hogs RC Millennium Falcon Quadcopter is to be flown indoors only, but who likes rule? Not me. So I took the Falcon out for some flight in the 17MPH NE winds we had today in SE Virginia. The initial tests were terrible because I was trying to fly out back where I wouldn't see any houses or crash into any cement. I couldn't control it at all because the wind was too strong. So I moved out to the front of the house to shield myself from the winds. It was definitely better, but if I got out of the protection, or the wind picked up significantly I lost control.
I hope to find a very still day to go back out with some nice cameras and shoot a beautiful video of the Millennium Falco flying in over tall grass and the farm land that surrounds us.
Just know that this is meant to be flown indoors, but the body is rugged enough to withstand some punishment - so don't be afraid to go outside and give it a try.
