A few weeks back at IMS we teamed up with our good friends from the world-renowned W Hotel Worldwide to help launch their latest addition to the W family.
The opening of W Amsterdam marks the entry of the contemporary, design-led lifestyle brand in The Netherlands and with an on-point policy combining creativity with wicked musical programming we simply had to link up.
We joined forces to deliver an evening of Ibiza grooves at the increasingly popular No Name Beach Bar in Playa d'en Bossa and recorded two hours of vibes exclusively for MixmagTV.
First up was the feel good duo Keljet, the collaboration between Dutchmen Koen Mestrum and Teeun Pranger. The guys were swiftly followed by W Amsterdam's Music Curator, Kristina D. Born and raised in Russia her impeccable house and techno selection has already taken her to Singapore, Bali, Holland and Ibiza.
Featuring 238 stylish guestrooms, including 25 suites the W Hotel Amsterdam aims to act as a switchboard of cultures and avant-garde ideas connecting individuals with what's new/next in the world of design, fashion and music.
