So far I've been lucky not to have very many product fails from HobbyKing but... one of the four 2206 Multistar Elite mini quadcopter motors I purchased last week would not turn when I took it out of the box -- why?
Well it seems there was a small piece of magnetic material stuck between the bell-magnets and the stator polls. What was this piece of stuff and where did it come from? Was it a piece of the ring of glue that seems to have a hole in it around the bearing area?
This issue aside, I really like the fact that these motors have oversized bearings and shafts which should make them super-durable.
