Victor W. Hwang is CEO, Co-founder, and Managing Director of T2 Venture Capital, a Silicon Valley firm that builds startups and designs the ecosystems that foster entrepreneurial innovation. In this talk, he asserts that because all innovation happens at the level of individuals and small teams, there are certain traits that underlie all human behavior related to creating systemic wealth and innovation: fear, trust, and love. If you value innovation and growth in your community, you cannot escape the fact that you matter.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
