JLB Racing CHEETAH MT with 3.8" Badlands on 3S
Talk to anyone in the hobby and they'll tell you just how important a good set of tires on an RC. Having good power is great, but what good is it if you can't put it down? This is exactly the case with the JLB Racing Cheetah. Lots of power in this RTR monster truck, but totally useless with the stock tires that looked great, felt great, but sadly were a great disappointment.
Enter the 3.8" Badlands. Pulled these off one of my other truggies just to see what difference they would make. These are about a year old, used and the lugs are rounded off from the dozens of batteries packs I've put them through, but what an amazing difference in grip. Next on the agenda is the super stiff suspension - this needs to change! Immediately! The constant bounce from those stiff springs is constantly lifting the tires off the ground and even with the improved grip, the car still struggles on rough, bumpy terrain. Great for landing jumps, but not great for general driving.
Stay tuned for more on this one and thanks for watching. :)
