Mammoth Blitz XL First run and REVIEW
A "Ready To Run" RC should come out of the box ready to run. With the exception of batteries, there really should be nothing that YOU need to do to the RC in order to start using it. That is what "Ready To Run" (or "RTR") is meant to be, it's not meant to be "Ready To Rebuild". Unfortunatelly, The Mammoth Blitz XL is excatly that. This is by far one of the worst, if not the worst, example of a RTR RC car that I've ever had my hands on.
Now, I know a lot of people will say that these lesser known brands are never worth checking out, that they're cheaply made, they cut corners and parts support is usually a problem, and although there is truth in a lot of that, I'm always willing to give something new a go. All the big companies we know al love today all started out much like these lesser known brands and I'm sure their first few RCs were not that great, but I doubt that any of them would allow an RC (that's most likely a copy of someone else's work) to be put on the shelf with problems like this. This is my first time using the Blitz XL at the track and after a few short minutes, it was done. Dead!
I'm done with this car and I don't want to do anything else to it other than strip it for parts. This car is an insult to the hobby world and a joke to its peers. Just stay away from this one at all costs!!
