The Lab NYC is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs from the intimate space connected to our Brooklyn office. This Friday, Mixmag welcomes Hayden James into The Lab NYC as The Lab's second set of the week.
Hayden James's first single 'Permission to Love' made waves in 2013, a telling premonition for the Australian output's future success two years later with his smash hit, 'Something About You'. Now, James calls the tastemaker label Future Classic home and remains an outstanding and proud artist output from down under.
As James prepares to make his Lab NYC debut on June 17, he also readies for his newest single 'Just a Lover', which releases the same day. Later that day, Hayden heads to Webster Hall in New York for a headlining show.
