Beginning with appropriately titled “Blackhawk Helicopter”, Point.Blank makes a B-line to the point - setting the tone of the whole EP and reassuring all that dubstep is most definitely not dead. As an engine begins to rev, immediately one is immersed into a feeling of combat, as if they’re about to engage in heavy firepower. This almost too-realistic feeling only picks up momentum with each drop and makes you craving more. Nose diving into “Whoa” next, you’re almost thrown off with its melodic intro, but that quickly changes as your slapped with a merciless drop followed by even more ruthless, bone-sawing synths. With “Blaze” following, the circus-esque intro turns one on their head as your blindsided by the energetic stabs alongside a heavy kick drum. As G$AW joins in on the final track “Fast Life”, the EP is rounded off with trap-bass inferno that will have you mosh-ing from start to finish.
