I have also read that the power output for the Tx might be overestimated. I haven't done any distance tests yet but 1-2 km must be easy with proper orientation and the right antenna.
I just received from Banggood.com a Wolf Box 1 W UJT Module UHF 433 MHz and U8R PPM 100mw Receiver. Its going into a Turnigy 9XR Pro which a JR Module ands this fits right in.
