I added a true DSMX module from a Spektrum DX4e to my Taranis radio using an adapter board I found from a seller on RCGroups.
Unlike the DSMX module from Hobbyking, this has true model match and doesn't use PPM. I can also bind my models in the radio instead of using a stupid button on the back. Much more neatly integrated.
You can do this mod on most radios running the OpenTX firmware (Taranis, Flysky TH9x, Turnigy 9x, etc.)
