Pokémon Day & Pokken Tournament Highlights (2016) - Nintendo Minute

Hi, we took a fun field trip to New York last week for Pokémon Day and wanted to share the highlights with you! Nintendo NY recently got remodeled and the new store looks absolutely amazing. To top it off, it was Pokémon Day so the store was bustling with a ton of fun activity. It was insane how long the line was! We also stopped over at the local GameStop to check out the Pokken Tournament Early Access Competition regionals also happening that weekend. The competition was fierce and it was cool seeing everyone battling for a spot in the finals. Of course, we couldn’t help but go on a little shopping spree for some goodies for you guys too. Pokkén Tournament is an arcade fighting game developed by Bandai Namco Studios and published by The Pokémon Company. The game combines gameplay elements from Bandai Namco's Tekken series with characters from Nintendo's Pokémon franchise. It was released for Japanese arcades on July 16, 2015, and worldwide for Wii U on March 18, 2016.
