IF YOU ARE IN THE US and don't understand about imported games and region locks then 1) Where have you been... this has been happening for decades. and 2) Read the paragraph below.
The UK & Europe use the same region lock for 3DS games as Aus/NZ - however USA & Japan use different regions. It is therefore not advisable to import this machine into the US from Australia because you'll also have to import all your games for it.
