I SHOULD POINT OUT NOW THAT THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL SAYS THAT ONLY A 3 CELL 2200 MAH LIPO SHOULD BE USED AND MAKES NO MENTION AT ALL ABOUT USING A 4 CELL AT ALL,
WE CHOSE TO USE THE 4 CELL OURSELVES OUT OF CURIOSITY AND "OH BOY" DID IT PERFORM WELL ON THE 4 CELL - LOL,
WE NOTICED THE MOTOR GOT WARM BUT NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, WE DIDNT CHECK THE ESC,
YOU FLY HER ON THE 4 CELL AT YOUR OWN RISK SO I WOULDNT EXPECT THE WARRANTY TO COVER ANY DAMAGE FROM USEING A FOUR CELL !

When the P-47 Thunderbolt first arrived in the European theater of World War II, its rotund fuselage quickly earned it the nickname “The Jug”. It wasn’t long, though, before this became short for “Juggernaut”. Built like a 400-mph flying tank, it packed the wallop of eight .50 caliber machine guns and carried enough bombs and rockets to wipe a ground target clean off the map.
AS3X™ Receiver with Optional SAFE® Select Technology (BNF Basic Only)
The model’s AS3X (Artificial Stabilization – 3-aXis) receiver works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence so you enjoy a sense of stability and precision that makes you feel like you’re flying a larger, expertly tuned aircraft.
If you’re new to flying scale aircraft or want an extra margin of safety while familiarizing yourself with the airplane, you have the option of enabling SAFE Select features like self-leveling and angle limits. No programming is required. All you do is change up the binding sequence as directed in the manual.
If you don’t want to enable the SAFE Select features, just bind the receiver normally and it will function like a standard AS3X receiver. You can even fine-tune its AS3X settings if you have the Spektrum programming interface and a compatible programming cable (both available separately).
With SAFE Select features enabled, you get:
Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These keep the aircraft from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent excessive climb or dive angles during takeoff and landing.
Automatic Self-Leveling
Instantly returns the wings to level when the sticks are released.
Easy Switch Assignment – No Programming Required
The simple procedure for assigning a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select features on and off doesn't require any programming and takes just a few seconds.
