Futaba T6K RC system review
The T6K from Futaba is a 6-channel radio which, Futaba claim, is suited to RC planes, gliders, helicopters and multirotors. In this video, I take a look at the radio on the bench and see whether it really does live up to the claims made for it.
The bottom line is that this is a very nicely made radio - but I can't help get the feeling that the design is a little "old school" and more suited to the needs of nitro/gas fliers than to today's electric-powered models. The inclusion of a receiver switch harness and total lack of lipo-voltage telemetry further suggests that this is the case.
All in all, if you're a brand-loyal Futaba user you'll probably love this radio. However, if you're shopping to get maximum bang for your buck, there are many alternatives on the market that might be more suitable.
