The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is proof that the third time is in fact a charm. Sony has stumbled with its past two attempts at tablets. They were a tad bit disappointing, to say the least, but this latest slate shows that Sony has definitely learned from its mistakes.
We were really impressed with Sony's Xperia Z smartphone at CES, and we're pleased to see that it has stuck with the same design language in the tablet. With its sharp, angled edges, a slim bezel, and an unbelievably thin (6.9mm) profile, the Xperia Tablet Z is easily one of the most attractive tablets we've seen in years.
In addition to it's 10.1 inch diagonal screen, it boasts a 8.1 megapixel camera, a 2.2 megapixel one on the rear, a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and also has a microSD slot which gives users expandable memory of up to 64GB. It's also outfitted with NFC and all the requisite wireless connectivity you'd expect from a high-end slate.
