Buy/Stream Anjunabeats Volume 13:
One of the defining protest records of the '80s, ‘Shout’, originally composed by UK rock band Tears For Fears, feels as poignant as it did over two decades ago. Providing a contemporary edge to the mix, Graeme Shepherd aka. Grum returns to Anjunabeats with this dance floor rework.
Debuted during his ABGT200 set live from Amsterdam’s 13,000 capacity Ziggodome, ‘Shout’ is yet another stand out vocal track from the Scottish producer who has become an increasingly prolific touring artist over the last 12 months. One of the four headline acts on Anjunabeats North American tour last Spring, Graeme has since played alongside the likes of Above & Beyond, Seven Lions and Ferry Corsten in the closing months of 2016.
A highlight in Above & Beyond’s recent iTunes #1 Dance compilation Anjunabeats Volume 13 compilation, Grum’s ‘Shout’ reshapes the volatile energy of the original vocals into a dark progressive house beast that has already found support on BBC Radio 1 from dance music tastemaker Danny Howard.
It follows previous vocal anthems ‘Under Your Skin (feat. Rothchild) and ‘Drifting Away’ , which found support from Deadmau5, Axwell and Armin van Buuren.
Meanwhile, Graeme hits the road in North America on his Shout tour, including dates in New York, San Francisco and Washington.
