Team Associated RIVAL with TEKIN 1700kv RX8 Combo
After having my Rival monster truck for over two years, spending hundreds on upgrades and having a great time with the Rival, I thought it was time to breath new life back into this awesome old beast. I decided to do something a little crazy and try a brushless system from a brand that many have told is among the best on the market - Tekin. After giving it some thought, I decided to go for torque over speed as this truck has its limits when it comes to speed. So I decided on the 1700kv combo and I have to say I'm very happy with the results so far.
