Dak bangla chicken
Ingredients
Whole chicken with skin- bw 1100-1300 gms
Eggs boiled -2
For the marinade:-
Curd -100 gms
Cumin - 1 tsp
Gg paste - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder- 2 tsps
Salt - to taste
Haldi - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Kasundi mustard- 1 tbsp
Ghee- 2 tbsps
Method
Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients except the ghee. Cover it and rest in the fridge for about 3-4 hrs
Before roasting , pour the ghee on top, put the boiled eggs inside the cavity of the chicken and put in a preheated oven at about 200 degrees. Roast it at that temp for 15 mins, then drop the temp to 180 degrees and continue to roast for another 20-30 mins.
Once the chicken is cooked, rest for 10-15 mins before serving it. Garnish with onion rings and green chillies, some lemon wedges and chopped Dhania.
