Team Magic E6 III HX running on 4S & 6S LiPo
Using a Hobbywing 150amp ESC salvaged from my old Thunder Tiger eMTA G2 and a 4074 2150kv brushless motor from RC Gear Shop, I decided to test out the Team Magic E6 III HX on 4S and 6S. This was just to see if there was any more power on 4S compared to the stock system and to see what it was like to use 6S in this beast. To me, 4S was just fine, wheelies are easily achieved and the truck had enough speed. But 6S proved a hand full and the truck just isn't set up for that sort of power. I felt the truck peeks with a good 4S system or perhaps even running it on 5S might be the ticket, but with a HCG and really soft tires, I found that I had to be very careful on the throttle and the truck didn't like to carry a lot of speed into and through the corners. That said, it was fun to drive and the truck remained a pleasure to jump and was very easy to control in the air.
Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoyed the video.
