Horizon Hobby servo & service versus a wun-hung-low servo

Wow, what a disappointment from Horizon Hobby and one of the hobby shops carrying their products. This E-Flite Hawker Hurricane is a nice looking model but came with a defective aileron servo that speaks very poorly to Horizon's quality control. What's worse, the retailer who sold the model then sold the owner two inferior nylon-geared servos to replace the faulty metal-geared one that should have been replaced under warranty.
Setting up the optional factory retracts was also a nighmare -- once again due to poor quality control and lousy manufacturing tolerances.
Not good enough Horizon and your dealer.
Just for comparison purposes, I grabbed a HobbyKing metal-geared servo of about the same size and pulled it apart to compare. The HK servo has a much better gear-train but also suffers from a lack of mechanical support for the wiring where it is soldered to the PC board. However, the soldering is of a higher standard and the wires have more slack and are more flexible than those on the E-Flite/Parkzone servos.
From a value perspective, this one is a win for HobbyKing -- or more accurately, a fail for Horizon.
