The Nike Magista Obra 2 was introduced a little over two years after the Magista Obra I revolutionised the world of football with the introduction of Flyknit. With that came the Dynamic Fit Collar and the new, high-cut silhouette and football boots would never be the same. The second generation takes a new approach, looking into what the foot would've looked like if it had evolved with the sole purpose of playing football. Here, Nike found out that to improve the way your brain reacts to the touches, they should utilize the most sensitive areas of the foot. Here, they engineered a 3D structure in the Flyknit upper itself, leaving negative space underneath to provide a more natural, direct touch in the areas you use the most as well as unrivalled dampening. At the same time, the Magista Obra 2 boasts an improved, more anatomically correct Dynamic Fit Collar that frees up the tendons for more freedom in movement. Also, Nike invented a new sole plate with a pivot zone and semi-conical studs for the creative midfielder to turn on a dime. All new features that make the Nike Magista Obra II stand out from the first generation.
