It's October 1st here in New Zealand and I'm pleased to announce that, thanks to the tireless efforts of mediators and the willingness of MFZN to "come to the table", everyone has set aside their differences and agreed to focus on the positive.
I now have my "wings" back and am once again a member of MFNZ which means I can once again fly at or within 4Km of the airfield. This means that now I really can get stuck in and do those flight-tests and important reviews.
It also means that I'll be able to carry on with the development of my SAA system, something that looks as if it's going to be a crucial part of aviation safety in the era of "drones".
So feel free to leave a comment -- but keep it positive. The past is done and dusted, let's look forward to a happy, safe, fun future without the politics and with a focus on promoting and supporting the hobby!
