Recipe:
9x13 inch tray bake at 190ºC for 25-30 minutes
Vanilla cake:
300g caster sugar
125g unsalted butter, softened
3 medium eggs
300g plain flour
1 tbsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
100ml whole milk
200ml Sprite
Jelly:
1½ packs Strawberry jelly cubes (200g)
Up to 300ml boiling water
To decorate:
400-600ml double cream
sifted icing sugar, to taste,
red sprinkles
Strawberry sweets/ fresh strawberries
